District Governor Sandy Schley presented to Rotary July 23 giving us a summary of what our district is planning this coming year.
This year’s theme is “The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands.” One of the goals is for each club to raise $1,000 for Polio Plus. She recommended we set up a committee to organize a fundraiser for this to get the public involved with this very important goal. This is something the board will discuss at the next meeting, which is Tuesday at noon.
Next week’s program is the Cokato Corn Carnival Royalty to help us get in the spirit of the long-standing Cokato tradition.
Corn anyone?!
Schley also wanted to remind us, each and every Rotarian, of why we joined Rotary and to share our Rotary story with others. We also want to invite you to invite guests to meetings. We like guests, and who knows, they may just want to join!

The
Four-Way
Test

Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
