Cokato Dassel Rotary Club

We had a great turnout today (only six absent) for our new teachers luncheon. There were eight new faces there along with their mentors and the principals from each school.
This is a great time to remind everyone of the second annual Rotary school supply drive going on right now.
There are four drop-off locations (the four banks in Dassel and Cokato). The last day for donations is Tuesday, Sept.1.
Thanks to all to participate, the school really appreciates all we do.

Reminder to all board members there is a board meeting on Tues. Aug 25th, 12pm The Grounds.  See you there.

Eventhough it is the first day of the MN State Fair, we will be having a regular meeting.  Our guests that day will be all the new teachers at the DC schools. 

Russ Johnson shared with the club an old audio of him and a few others that were in a talent contest at the Cokato Corn Carnival 60 yrs ago.
